Located in Cortez, Colorado USA, the new Curt Mangan® string factory builds over 140 packaged sets for guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, and other instruments.

Since launching the company in 2004, Curt Mangan® FusionMatched® strings are available in over 1,000 USA independent retailers, 20 countries and are used by more than 800 artists.

The company was founded by Curt Mangan who has a 46-year history with the guitar. He played and recorded professionally for many years, worked at and owned music stores, built and repaired guitars, taught lessons, wrote music and was Director of Sales and Marketing for one of the world’s largest string companies for seventeen years.
The company prides itself on the quality of their products and their personal service.

In addition to device-testing all strings, several first articles from every batch of Curt Mangan® strings are also installed on instruments and then played by either Curt or the production manager to make sure they feel and sound perfect.

St Louis Music will stock a comprehensive range of Curt Mangan Strings including Acoustic, Electric, Bass and Classical Guitar Strings and also Banjo and Mandolin strings.

Treated with Cleartone(r) proprietary technology, Martin SP LIFESPAN string sets bring you the longest possible string life without sacrificing the legendary tone or natural feel of Martin SP strings.

 

Designed to repel the oils and dirt that can deaden strings, all six strings are treated to preserve the natural Martin SP sound and feel that players prefer. Martin SP LIFESPAN strings treated with Cleartone(r) proprietary technology will be available August 2010.
